Author ------ Olivier BORDRON - o.bordron@free.fr Revisions --------- Revision Date Description v1 17/08/2014 First version of this document. v2 24/06/2016 Next gen of this document. General overview ---------------- To be DAPNC compliant, a file name must follow a well-defined number of rules describing the image. The file name must be like this : filename.extension where "extension" depends on the file format and "filename" follows the naming convention. The convention states that "filename" must be composed of "properties" written in parenthesis. Therefore the "filename" format should look like this example: Order number-(Film title)(Photo Title)(Author)(Date)(Description)(Film brand and model)(Film ISOs@Exposed ISOs)(Film format)(Camera brand and model)(Developper@temperature) Forbidden characters -------------------- . (period) : must be reserved to seperate filename from the extension " (quote) / (slash) \ (backslash) : (colon) ; (semicolon) | (pipe) = (equal) , (comma) * (asterisk) (Wildcard) ? (question mark) (Wildcard) % (percent) (Wildcard) < (less than) (Redirect input) > (more than) (Redirect output) Detailed overview ----------------- *Order number On a roll film, number of the view On sheet films, number of the view, the order you want.
